Science
Our journey begins by understanding the history, the people, and studies that have paved the steps to our modern knowledge and understanding of Breathwork. In this, we can honor the work that has come before us, while building our own understanding and role in the practice. Similar to the chakras, we work from the ground up- building first a foundation with the cultural and physiological shaping of this healing method, before we journey into the waves of energetics and intuition. We develop an intimate relationship to our thoughts, mind, and mental health as we analyze and begin to understand neuronal activations and the processes of the nervous system. Through this, and together, we begin to bridge the gap between science and spirituality.
Energetics
As we move into the energetic and emotional body with a grounded foundation, we begin to connect all the intricate pieces of our being. As we slowly transition from the base of our spine, to the crown of the head we learn to intentionally listen, identify, and understand the energy that’s flowing, stagnant and unprocessed, or traumatically stored in the energetic body. Pairing energetics with awareness, movement and sound, we find a balance of grounding and air. As we uncover new layers of knowing, we begin to release, recalibrate, and open new channels. We find a calm with working on our own energy fields and build the confidence to hold that space for others.
Intuition
With an understanding and attunement of the physical, and emotional body we have greater ability to be aware of our authentic and intuitive rhythms. Deep listening to the energetic flow of others gives us an opportunity to help guide, heal, and find space to gravitate energy in a beneficiary direction. We learn how to move and perceive our body as well as ground others in confidence to connect deeper to theirs. We learn to ground in the present to allow others to feel seen, heard, safe, and valued.
